Application Process
Step 1: Submit Application
Complete the online application form with all required personal and academic information.
Step 2: Entrance Exam
Take the entrance exam to assess your academic readiness and potential.
Step 3: Interview
Participate in an interview with our admissions panel to discuss your goals and aspirations.
Step 4: Admission Decision
Receive your admission decision and, if accepted, prepare for enrollment.

Timeline
- Students and parents are encouraged to considering the application to highschool towards the end of grade 7 or 18 months before classes begin.
- Applications open in July and close around the 1st week of November for applicants of the following year in order to be eligible for financial assistance or scholarships.
- Rolling applications will be accepted throughout the year afterwards, with the conditions highlighted in the section titled “What if I miss the application season/deadline?”
Procedure
- We highly recommend you use a personal email (gmail, outlook, etc.) to setup your account, not a school affiliated email account (not ocdsb.ca for example)
- For most people applying from Canada, only the domestic application will become available. If more than one application is available to you based on your citizenship and residency, please note that you may only apply through one path and submitting an application to more than one path will result in disqualification.
- By clicking on the green “Apply Now” button on the right you will be able to start your application.
- If you get re-routed away from the section you are working on, click “Home” to get back to the application entry page.
- Once the application is open, you will see the list of tasks that need to be completed before you can submit it.
- You can complete the tasks in any order and come back to them at any time up until you hit “Submit”.
- Save your work as you go!
- When you fill out the information about your recommenders, they will receive an email with instructions about logging into the system and supplying your reference. You need 3 recommendations (one from your principal or someone in a leadership role at your current school and two other recommendations) in order for your submission to be complete.
- Once you have submitted your application, no further changes are possible.

Applicants must demonstrate strong academic performance in their previous studies.
Character and Leadership
Prospective students should exhibit leadership qualities and a commitment to community service.
Personal Statement
Submit a personal statement outlining your goals, achievements, and reasons for applying to Siraj Institute.
