So You Think You Can Lead? Leadership Workshop

About the Workshop

Siraj Institute is pleased to announce the “So You Think You Can Lead?” workshop, aimed at equipping Muslims who lead with the necessary skills and tools to deliver maximum value to their local communities. This workshop focuses on enhancing knowledge of Islamic leadership principles and applying them to the responsibilities of Muslims who lead in any capacity. The workshop aims to build a network of competent and inspired Muslim leaders.

Workshop Objectives 

  • Equip Muslim leaders with skills for effective leadership and community engagement
  • Enhance understanding of Islamic leadership principles
  • Establish connections between local leaders and Siraj Institute

Learning Outcomes 

By the end of the workshop, participants will: 

  • Develop leadership skills to effectively lead any Muslim group or association
  • Cultivate strategies for conflict resolution within any group’s framework
  • Gain expertise in marketing and fundraising to enhance community and donor engagement
  • Learn to organize and execute  Islamic initiatives (e.g. Islam Awareness Week at campuses and successful Umrah trips)
  • Strengthen organizational skills for managing your group’s activities and events

About the Facilitator 

The workshop will be led by Majed Jarrar, an experienced community leader and MSA advisor who is also: 

  • Founder and first President of an MSA Chapter (2010-2011)
  • Faculty Advisor to MSAs for over ten years
  • Professor of Entrepreneurship, with experience training over 600 teams
  • Alumni of Pearson College UWC, one of the top leadership-building institutes globally
  • Holds Ijaza in Quran, Hadith, and Fiqh

Registration Fees
