Muslim Teachers Training Conference

About the Conference

Siraj Institute is honored to invite you to its first annual Muslim Teacher Training Conference. This one-day intensive program is designed to provide comprehensive training for Muslim teachers of Arabic, Quran, and Islamic Studies. The goal of the program is to support Muslim teachers and increase the quality of their education, whether they teach adult or young Muslims, online or in person, in one-on-one to large classes. The full-day conference is packed with a multidisciplinary approach to tackle all problems of teaching from several angles.  While the conference is focused on teaching Muslims, resources will be provided on how to integrate Islamic manners and values in every subject matter.

This conference is for you if you are:

  • a teacher in an Islamic school with less than five years’ experience of teaching in any subject.
  • a Muslim with subject matter expertise and no teaching experience (e.g. have Ijaza in Quran and would like to start teaching Quran, or know the Arabic language well but don’t know how to teach it)
  • an experienced Quran teacher seeking to refresh and enhance your teaching skills and methodologies.
  • an online tutor of Arabic for non-native speakers, Quran, and Islamic studies.
